BrightSign compatibility extended, plus other optimizations

Support for newer BrightSign devices, optimizations to the device deletion process, and escalation fixes; we bring you all these in the upcoming App and platform releases this August 30th. Read on to learn more.

Support for BrightSign series-4 devices

With the release of Appspace App 1.39 this coming weekend, we are extending support for BrightSign’s latest series-4 range of devices (XT1144). These devices are designed to support Dolby Vision and HDR10+ for displaying vibrant colors with our App’s HTML5 engine. For more detailed information on this, please visit compatible operating systems and devices.

Optimizations to device deletion process

We have now completed optimizations to the device deletion process, which began as a series of improvements to the console a couple of weeks ago. Hence, when you delete any registered device from the Appspace console, the Appspace App will now automatically unregister the device, delete all its content, and return the device to a new registration state. Cloud update focus on sign channels

The Appspace 7.0-ac.16 cloud release will focus on solving several escalations and bugs related to sign channels; unable to add tag rules, unable to set content scheduling, and unable to update channel name. Read the Appspace 7.0-ac.16 release notes for detailed information.
